I’ve taken some photos with this jacket in the past, but never unloaded them. I’ll have to do that some day, until then, this denim on denim had to be seen. I’m wearing Rue 21 jeans, Demonia boots, jacket from Forever 21. This was for a lunch date with my bf. One of the last really warm days this fall. If you look close you can see I had on some fishnet tights, and the holographic bag is from WISH. I’ll do a post solely on the shoes and one on the purse at some point.
I love these leggings and don’t get to wear them much since they don’t go with everything or every occasion. The other month when I visited the Hello Kitty food truck, I figured they would be a match. The weather was semi warm, but not warm enough to take off my hoodie. Lol. Those Chuck Taylor’s are my favorite, look how high up they go!
Look how hot these shoes are!! I love them and they are new to my collection. Metallic pink, pointy toes, white detail on transparent body.. these are perfect in every way. I’ve seen some similar on the runway and was on a mission to find them for months.
I would wear them with socks but it’s freezing outside so there’s no way! Maybe in the spring I can do that. Socks make them extra eccentric though. I told my boyfriend that I’m a space cowgirl when I wear them. Very alien, totally me though. 👽
The black pants are PVC material. I’ll probably do an outfit post with them at some point.
I got these pants recently, from Wish, so they’re not a fancy brand, but they’re pretty comfy so they’re awesome. They’re synthetic leather with fleece on the inside. I think these nude booties are from Fashion Nova. The shirt is Bisou Bisou with a navy Victoria Secret sweater under it and I’m holding my LV neverfull. Red isn’t one of my colors, I hardly wear it, but my family friend from Germany came to town so I dressed up. My necklace is a Sagittarius pearl bow and arrow.
Above, I am wearing the Babydoll shade. It is a nice warm nude color that doesn’t wash me out!
I’m so excited with these!! They work just as well as the twenty buck lip colors at Sephora. Seriously, for such an affordable makeup brand, I’m thrilled that these are in the same league as Kylie Cosmetics, Kat Von D, and Jefree Star.
The applicator is great length, perfect width and long enough, and kind of flat. After a couple minutes, it’s totally dry, and stays on as long as you don’t eat something really greasy. Doesn’t flake unless you rub your lips too much before it dries, or apply too much of the product. Make sure your lips are exfoliated well too so it won’t build up funny and crumble, but that goes for any lip stick really.
And in this pic I’m wearing my fave because of the berry undertone, it’s called Embellishment. This was taken after a day of work, see, it stayed in place the whole shift!
This stuff works miracles. My hands are always in water at work, cold water, and I deal with a lot of chemicals and hair products which irritate the hell out of my hands. I still like using thick hand creams and lotions, but they don’t heal the same ways salves do. This salve is the consistency of vaseline, it smells just like roses, and you can put it on any dry areas. It can be used as lip balm, rubbed into elbows, or cuticles. It can pretty much be used all over! It takes the redness out of my dry, itchy, red, cracked skin instantly. I put this on upwards of five times a day. C.O. Bigelow is a brand you can find at Bath & Body Works.
A while back I posted Tieks flats as my shoe of the day. You can type that in the search bar and see that if you wanna check it out before you read this! (Also, this is a different pair of Tieks. I will explain that further down. Keep reading.)
I have worn these a while now. In the last post, I put a photo of the red shiny ones. I ended up trading with my mom because we had the wrong sizes! We were unsure which size would fit us how we would like, so we ordered a US 7 and a US 8 just to see what would happen. One night we were sitting around complaining that they hurt our feet, I said something about how her cobalt blue Tieks didn’t hurt my foot at all when I tried them on once and I liked the color better too. Then we got the ingenious idea to swap them out. Immediately we were prancing around the living room and laughing about how comfortable the switch was for the both of us! We couldn’t stop laughing, because it was pretty funny we both felt the same way.
The reason I was unsure which size would be right is because my feet are skinny/long and a half size, and my mom was just as clueless since she has wider/shorter feet and is also a half size. So I am very happy we got lucky and happened to be able to trade out so nonchalantly. The website for Tieks says to order a size down, and that turned out being true for me, however my mom has a more unusual foot I guess, because she fit into the next size up!
****** I will warn everyone: THESE SHOES AREN’T COMFY AT FIRST! After about twenty wears, these are comfy, your arch feels gently supported, but I still can’t wear them for more than 4 or 5 hours before they feel uncomfortable.. Within the first twenty wears, your toes will probably get sore, and your arches will feel the same and you will be really grumpy because most bloggers lie about how these shoes feel.
They aren’t as feel-good or maybe not even as pretty as I expected, but there’s some positives. Like… You can’t feel the ground through them like you can with other flats. The colors are super bright and chic. They look like my ballet shoes from my dancing days. So they are really girly, and I like how flexible they are. You can walk on your tiptoes or flex your foot up, and that is something I haven’t found in any other flat.
Who knows, maybe after I break the leather in even more I will be happier with them. It’s been a few months though and so maybe they just aren’t super compatible for hair stylists or just my feet in general!
