I wore this to work the other day and it’s probably one of my favorite outfits. I love the little off-white collar and the feel of the lace. It’s very romantic but I like the deepness of the black. It really reminds me of Alice in Wonderland with a gothy vibe which makes it that much more adorbs.
Dress by Bella D, boots are Black Poppy. Victoria’s Secret Pout lipgloss in Eternal Flame. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Marc Jacobs eyeliner.
I decided to try and work furniture market after my day job this year, because that’s just something I’ve always wanted to try. (Furniture market is my town’s claim to fame, it happens a couple times a year and is internationally known. Showrooms are put together, there’s lots of fancy looking business people, catered food, music, etc.)It turns out I am NOT cut out for servicing people with food or drinks, so I quit after my first night. Lol, it’s okay, I was really bored and prefer my day job of cutting hair! Not to mention, most serious business people are rude, especially the non-Americans. But that’s none of my bidness.
This is one of my newest tunics, and this was just one of many outfits I tried on before I went to market. I actually didn’t even wear this to market because I was being really indecisive. I haven’t posted an outfit in a while so I figured it was about time.
This look was created by my friends Rita and Amber. First, Rita put a roller set in my hair and after it was dried, Amber strategically placed the curls into a romantic, bridal-esque updo. It was a lot like big pincurls, so they looked like flowers. Everyone enjoyed looking at it and after a couple days, when I took it down, people were sad that I didn’t keep it up longer. Good thing I am hard headed though, because there were over 100 bobby pins in my hair!!
Two pieces of hair were left hanging in order to frame my face in a feminine manor and give a less harsh vibe. Blue liner and nude lips from Marc Jacobs cosmetic line. Fur from Forever 21, striped shirt from Victoria’s Secret, boots are Black Poppy.
To keep this style the next day, I had to sleep with three hair nets, two cloth hairbands, and one scarf. It only felt uncomfortable to lay on one side, luckily, so I stayed very still on my other side!
I felt very Audrey Hepburn 🙂
This is my first post in 2015!! I’ve been busy as usual, and I also got sick around the holidays so I haven’t been on my laptop much. This cool scarf was a birthday gift from my aunt. It’s a cowl scarf, so it is kind of like a cowl neck sweater combined with a scarf. I like these infinity scarves, not just cause they’re super trendy right now, but because you just slip it on and don’t have to worry about one side going lower or flying off and getting stuck on something.
I’ve always liked clothes more than I do shoes, but when you find the perfect shoes, it is hard not to fall in love with them!!
When I hangout with friends and family I usually wear heels. I like to kind of dress up, even when other people are dressed down. I take joy in picking out outfits and looking good whenever I am around people that I care about I guess.
What do I wear on outings in the summer? Wedges!! They add a lot of height but they’re also super comfortable and very easy to walk in. Some of my first wedges I got as a kid were made out of cork with stretchy black straps, I later on got a pair that’s very similar and just as comfortable.
What I wear in the fall.. I like to wear ankle booties. My grey suede ones aren’t very high so they are more casual than most heels. I’d say they’re only two inches.
What I wear in the winter… I always wear calf high or knee high boots in the winter. I absolutely adore boots, and when you get used to wearing them, it’s hard to part with them once the warm season comes back around. I like how dressy and sophisticated they look with every outfit. You don’t even have to try when you wear boots, they make everyone look better IMO! These are my newest boots:
What I wear for casual normal days at home or when I dress down: Wedge sneakers.
This is my outfit of the day. It’s a white blouse from the Kardashian Kollection and faux leather leggings by Tracy Evans. The shoes are my knee high ones from Forever 21.
I like the simplicity of the top, it’s fancy and business like, yet doesn’t have much fuss about it. It has hidden buttons in the front and I think it will be in style forever. Simple chic, ftw! The leggings are a few years old but they are my favorite leggings by far. I love how they feel, they make me feel like Sandy from Grease!
Tell me what you think. =p
Here’s my little black tennis dress that I got way back in middle school. It is handmade and one of a kind! It features the lead singer of a band called HIM on the front and on the back it has the band’s name. I used to wear this dress to school even. Last night I wore it to a HIM concert! It was the second time I have seen them live, and it was terrific. I was on the front row of course singing along to each and every lyric.
I love the green, white, and pink side stripes on this dress. It also has black lace at the top, so it’s girly and eccentric at the same time. Note the smokey eyes, I do that every time there is a concert! My tights are metallic silver and they’re from Victoria’s Secret. Black boots are Black Poppy from Pacsun.
Up close view of the lovely back. See my blue hair peeping through!
