Hope you enjoyed the photos of my girls. They’re rowdy and can be a hand full.
I sold my original Baby Born which was very played with and had pink eyes. I’ll keep these until a pink eye appears, then I’ll put them up for adoption. Lol

inThe last time I posted about organizing the linen closet was about five years back. At that time I had not really committed to being minimal. The bins I had back then were black fabric and shallow so I ended up not using all of them and not really loving them. I’ve mentioned before that we don’t have counter space at all in the little 1965 style bathroom, so I have to keep all of our hair care, daily moisturizers, deodorant, makeup, etc in this linen closet. It’s not a bad size, but with that many things, it does get out of control of I’m not regularly going through and decluttering and then reorganizing.
This time I got a couple white plastic bins from the dollar store, the big round ones you see. The third more shallow white bin is for my sheets and pillow cases. All the white really opens up the space meaning it airy, cleaner, and brighter in there. It helps that you can’t see all the stuff in them. I don’t think I’ll get clear bins anymore unless it’s for the pantry or fridge, cause it’s important to see what food you have, but not as important to see your hair spray every time you open the linen closet.
I’ve down sized a lot but I still am finishing up some hair products that you see on the second to top shelf. Very top shelf has my waxing stuff in hello kitty bin, my hello kitty tanning pillow, pink hair color bin, first aid bin, tooth care bin, and all my wax melts.
Not sure if you can see the bottom left corner, it’s a gold wire bin from dollar store that holds wash cloths for me. I still have a variety of towels, all colors of the rainbow. One day I might get all grey towels, after these towels are worn out. All of these towels are fluffy and have tons of life left to live though.
I only have two blankets in here and one set of sheets. Think about it I had anymore, it would be hard to store any more than basics. I think it’s really difficult to make the linen closet look orderly. The only solution for me will be more White bins!
I think it looks better than it used to though, clutter just seems to accumulate here if you aren’t careful. The deeper into the shelves you get, there’s always something you find that you didn’t know was there so I am trying to know everything that’s in there and get rid of anything that’s not intentional. On the bottom shelf behind the towels, I keep two big clear makeup bags for traveling that hold all kinds of things I need on trips, from alcohol wipes to nipple covers and little containers that hold shampoo. They take up a good amount of space so I’m always going through them to see if there’s stuff I don’t need in them. I should probably store them inside of a suitcase with clothes that I keep especially prepacked for trips ranging from 3-7 nights away. That might be crazy, but I love being prepared for my travels since packing is no fun.

inRecently I’ve been rearranging and selling some of my doll collection, and believe me, there’s enough to go around. My Thumbelinas have survived the decluttering, minus one which I sold! These dolls were made popular in the 1960’s. My mom had one which unfortunately didn’t make it into this post, it was long ago deteriorated or given up.
It’s fun setting up all the props and areas for magical photo shoots. I played with mine a bunch as a kid. My only complaint is that the hair is shedding and doesn’t stay the ginger color over time as it fades just from getting age.
Here’s some of my mom’s vintage outfits on Tiny Thumbelina once more:

inMy first, and probably last trip to the very small, secluded beach town called Holden. It was alright, not much to do, and only ten restaurants or so. Not really my style.
Here’s what I brought for my week long stay:
I packed 12 clothing items, not including undies, pajama set, or bathing suits. It was awesome and barely took any time to pack. I’ve always been a light packer on trips, but this time I went even smaller. There were 2 tank tops, 2 skirts, 2 shorts, 1 dress, 1 sweater, 1 long sleeve shirt, 1 short sleeved shirt, 1 pair of pants, and 1 beach cover up.
Above I am showing a few different outfits I wore to get ice cream, go to dinner, or to meet up with relatives. This was a great amount of clothes and because everything was pretty much black or pink, most things matched one another so that I could swap a bottom or top and create a new outfit. It was also important to have the ability to create more outfits in case an outfit got wet or sandy at the beach and needed to be washed or dried. And it was such a little town, I didn’t have to dress up or feel like I was going to be seen in the same outfit if I needed to wear something twice. We will see how this method of packing holds up on my next journey this summer! Oh yeah, and you will see some of these ‘fits spotlighted in posts of their own throughout the summer.

inI am trying out putting things in the windows here. Not really sure if I like it. It looks better in photos maybe than in person even. It’s a very small entry way that is never used but it’s the front of the house. It’s so peaceful like this. I love the vibe of an empty foyer.

inA year ago or so I decided to try out poshmark for selling. I only listed 20 things or so, and barely got on there. I just wasn’t feeling it and was putting all my energy into Mercari. I was also concerned that Posh was somehow a MLM scheme and it seemed intimidating.
Well now I can totally say that I am digging Poshmark and it’s NOT a multi level marketing scheme at all. It’s just another simple platform to do business on. I love their shipping! I don’t have to worry about which shipping label to choose like I do on Mercari or ebay. After listing 100-120 items, I made my first sell, and then they kept rolling in. I was able to become an ambassador 2 and a half months after my first sale!!
I’ve also sold shoes and wallets on there, two things that I can’t give away on mercari, they sit so long on there for me. Yes, Posh takes 20 percent, but you just have to price accordingly, and I have made more sells on there in a short amount of time. As long as you are selling a lot, it doesn’t matter that they take more. The people buying on there are often willing to pay more for items because they are true fashionistas!
Becoming a poshmark ambassador means that I have a badge that will let other users know I’m a reputable seller. I get more followers because of the label, which will hopefully add to more sales!
The only cons I can think of for sellers on Poshmark:
1) They don’t have a limit on offers. People offer extremely low prices sometimes.
2) If someone makes a bundle, you have to make sure the shipping doesn’t go over 5 pounds, if it does you can request another label but it will cost you the seller.
3) You can’t ship anything over 10 pounds. So appliances, doll furniture, anything heavy, you probably don’t want to list.
Besides those things, I’m loving it on there. Would recommend!
