I did these the other day. I just wanted them to match everything so I went neutral. It’s China Glaze’s Black Diamond and OPI’s gold on a silver platter.
The colors are Lorac’s Wisteria, Rave & Utopia which are both Limecrime. They are all matte lipstick that go on liquid and dry off course.
They are brand new, I’ll do a review of them later on. Haven’t been on here lately cause I’m busy. I hope to do more outfit based posts closer to holidays.
I don’t think they are supposed to be crossed in the front, but I haven’t decided how I like them best. They are pretty comfortable, the transparent style just looks like it would be unstable or hurt, but don’t judge a book by its cover!
These are my new favorite shoes! I didn’t think I would purchase anymore clear shoes but in person I saw these and fell in love!! They do make feet look larger and you have to pair them with something more conservative for balance. They make me feel like Cinderella, which makes me wanna wear them daily.
This color is amazing! It’s Sally Hansen’s quick dry polish. It does dry fast, it didn’t even feel tacky. It doesn’t even have a bad smell, it’s almost a sweet scent that definitely doesn’t have the typical chemical aroma you associate with polish.
The other day I got pieces of tinsel seen in my hair! I’ve been wanting it for months but my busy summer was in the way of me making a hair appointment!
I picked out pink and blue, and got ten strands put in. They will fall out when my real hair natural comes out of my head. Isn’t that cool?! I really love it.
I had been wanting to try this for years and never got around to it until recently. It is actually much more simple than you would imagine.
All you have to do is start like you are making a pony tail, but then don’t pull the tail through, so that it is stuck looking like a sloppy bun. Then you take the end and pull in forward and tuck it in to hide the hair tie. You can use a couple bobby pins to hold it there.
It is super easy, I can’t explain it that well. I wore it this way a few times this summer, and I always got compliments! It is very high fashion but at the same time lazy. It is great if you are low key about things like I am, and when it is freaking hot outside and you just need to throw your hair up, you can do this and still look fashionably cool.
I’m not one to go all out with makeup, I used to wear a lot more. I haven’t worn foundation in years, but sometimes I’ll wear blush, and since highlighters are trending, I tried out this one by Tarte. I really like it, I thought I might look greasy so I was hesitant to try it at first, but it’s a definite sparkle. It’s a perfect dewy glow, and doesn’t really look anything like sweat or wetness from oil, which would be gross lol. I feel like it brings out my cheekbone, and makes me seem more tan on the rest of my face. I also like to put it above my cupid’s bow to define my lips better.
So it’s been a little while since I got all of my Jeffree Star lip stuff. I am still really into his brand, I love the look and the feel of his product overall.
What do you think? Pink is so fun, but neutral is so chic!
Top photo, lip color is Queen Supreme, lower photo color is Androgyny.
Let’s get down to it. I really, really love the smooth application of his lipsticks, but I wish that the wand was a little smaller. The tip is made for people with larger lips, so if you have a petite mouth you will have to be very careful as to not smear it every where! Kylie has a better wand I believe, and so does Tarte, and Kat Von D. However I like the fact that his do not peel or flake like Kylie’s seem to do so easily.
You can eat with this on, as long as you are extremely careful about not touching anything greasy or wet to your mouth. That is pretty much how all these brands are. Anything oily or really liquidy is a no-go. Don’t even lick your lips! The best one to eat with is probably Tarte, because it doesn’t flake off and look so horrible, it just subtly rubs a little, and certain days it seems to not even budge because it’s so super creamy. I have had some luck with eating with Kat Von D’s, as long as I am very careful. Really depends on the food. One time I ate a cupcake with Kat Von D’s matte liquid lip stick and none came off!
I love that Jeffree star’s liquid matte colors are vivid and light weight on your lips, they aren’t drying, they aren’t too creamy, or too cracky/flaky/peely, it is a nice in between as long as you keep it dry. The pigments are very true to color unlike Kylie’s have been for me. I wish that I could layer Jeffree’s a little more, because sometimes the pigment looks a bit opaque. And honestly, I could do without the chemically smell his seem to have. All the other brands smell pretty nice to me.
I cannot think of anything else right now. I am very pleased with his colors and the way they go on/ stay on in general. I also have one of his plain lipsticks that comes in the old fashioned lipstick form, and it has glitter in it which looks incredible layered over a velour lipstick. I will have to save that more another post though!!
A while back I ordered these bad boys and they were featured in an earlier post called “Shoes of the Day: Hunter Boots” If you would take a moment and check that.
Soooo, I would have to say that I recommend these boots for everybody. They are super comfy and pretty and easy to walk in. They don’t rub your foot like some rubbers. They don’t feel like your foot is moving back and forth inside the shoe either. They feel very stable and they aren’t too tight with big fuzzy socks, even though they are US 5/6 in size! They are equipped with reflectors on the back in case you’re walking or sledding or whatever on a dreary day. They are the best for milder, rainy weather because they are not insulated with anything to keep you warm in the cold snow or icy conditions. I really dig that I have not scuffed them yet! I just wish these were taller, but besides that I don’t have any complaints.
Essie has OK fingernail polish, but sometimes I feel like it is too liquidy, like maybe it should be thickened up. I have also had a color that looked pinked and showed up red which I hated. That was a long time ago though. This polish is my favorite color, or close to it. That Barbie pink is what I am always looking for!
I love these bubble rings. I have a blue one too. They are pretty much the only rings I wear because they don’t annoy me. I just wish I could wear them to work but it would be impossible to do someone’s hairdo whilst donning such a huge ring!
And of course, there is my Juicy Couture charm bracelet which is still my top fave. when it comes to wrist bling.
